In OneDev before version 4.0.3, there is an issue involving YAML parsing which can lead to post-auth remote code execution. In order to parse and process YAML files, OneDev uses SnakeYaml which by default (when not using `SafeConstructor`) allows the instantiation of arbitrary classes. We can leverage that to run arbitrary code by instantiating classes such as `javax.script.ScriptEngineManager` and using `URLClassLoader` to load the script engine provider, resulting in the instantiation of a user controlled class. For a full example refer to the referenced GHSA. This issue was addressed in 4.0.3 by only allowing certain known classes to be deserialized","state":"PUBLIC","assigner":"security-advisories@github.com","published_at":"2021-01-15 21:15:00","updated_at":"2022-04-26 16:13:00"},"problem_types":["CWE-502"],"metrics":[],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/theonedev/onedev/commit/d6fc4212b1ac1e9bbe3ce444e95f9af1e3ab8b66","name":"https://github.com/theonedev/onedev/commit/d6fc4212b1ac1e9bbe3ce444e95f9af1e3ab8b66","refsource":"MISC","tags":["Patch","Third Party Advisory"],"title":"Fix security vulnerability issue caused by SnakeYaml deserialization · theonedev/onedev@d6fc421 · GitHub","mime":"text/html","httpstatus":"200","archivestatus":"200"},{"url":"https://github.com/theonedev/onedev/security/advisories/GHSA-7xhq-m2q9-6hpm","name":"https://github.com/theonedev/onedev/security/advisories/GHSA-7xhq-m2q9-6hpm","refsource":"CONFIRM","tags":["Third Party Advisory"],"title":"Post-Auth Unsafe Yaml deserialization · Advisory · theonedev/onedev · GitHub","mime":"text/html","httpstatus":"200","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2021-21249","name":"CVE Program record","refsource":"CVE.ORG","tags":["canonical"]},{"url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2021-21249","name":"NVD vulnerability detail","refsource":"NVD","tags":["canonical","analysis"]}],"affected":[],"timeline":[],"solutions":[],"workarounds":[],"exploits":[],"credits":[],"nvd_cpes":[{"cve_year":"2021","cve_id":"21249","vulnerable":"1","versionEndIncluding":"","cpe1":"cpe","cpe2":"2.3","cpe3":"a","cpe4":"onedev_project","cpe5":"onedev","cpe6":"*","cpe7":"*","cpe8":"*","cpe9":"*","cpe10":"*","cpe11":"*","cpe12":"*","cpe13":"*"},{"cve_year":"2021","cve_id":"21249","vulnerable":"1","versionEndIncluding":"1","cpe1":"cpe","cpe2":"2.3","cpe3":"a","cpe4":"onedev_project","cpe5":"onedev","cpe6":"*","cpe7":"*","cpe8":"*","cpe9":"*","cpe10":"*","cpe11":"*","cpe12":"*","cpe13":"*"}],"vendor_comments":[],"enrichments":{"kev":null,"epss":null,"legacy_qids":[]},"source_records":{"cve_program":{"CVE_data_meta":{"ASSIGNER":"security-advisories@github.com","ID":"CVE-2021-21249","STATE":"PUBLIC","TITLE":"Post-Auth Unsafe Yaml deserialization"},"affects":{"vendor":{"vendor_data":[{"product":{"product_data":[{"product_name":"onedev","version":{"version_data":[{"version_value":"< 4.0.3"}]}}]},"vendor_name":"theonedev"}]}},"data_format":"MITRE","data_type":"CVE","data_version":"4.0","description":{"description_data":[{"lang":"eng","value":"OneDev is an all-in-one devops platform.
