Versions prior to 3.13.1 contain Use of Hard-coded Credentials. When using Gradio's share links (i.e. creating a Gradio app and then setting `share=True`), a private SSH key is sent to any user that connects to the Gradio machine, which means that a user could access other users' shared Gradio demos. From there, other exploits are possible depending on the level of access/exposure the Gradio app provides. This issue is patched in version 3.13.1, however, users are recommended to update to 3.19.1 or later where the FRP solution has been properly tested.","state":"PUBLIC","assigner":"security-advisories@github.com","published_at":"2023-02-23 22:15:00","updated_at":"2023-11-07 04:09:00"},"problem_types":["CWE-798"],"metrics":[],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/gradio-app/gradio/security/advisories/GHSA-3x5j-9vwr-8rr5","name":"https://github.com/gradio-app/gradio/security/advisories/GHSA-3x5j-9vwr-8rr5","refsource":"MISC","tags":[],"title":"Update share links to use FRP instead of SSH tunneling · Advisory · gradio-app/gradio · GitHub","mime":"text/html","httpstatus":"200","archivestatus":"404"},{"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2023-25823","name":"CVE Program record","refsource":"CVE.ORG","tags":["canonical"]},{"url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2023-25823","name":"NVD vulnerability detail","refsource":"NVD","tags":["canonical","analysis"]}],"affected":[],"timeline":[],"solutions":[],"workarounds":[],"exploits":[],"credits":[],"nvd_cpes":[{"cve_year":"2023","cve_id":"25823","vulnerable":"1","versionEndIncluding":"","cpe1":"cpe","cpe2":"2.3","cpe3":"a","cpe4":"gradio_project","cpe5":"gradio","cpe6":"*","cpe7":"*","cpe8":"*","cpe9":"*","cpe10":"*","cpe11":"python","cpe12":"*","cpe13":"*"}],"vendor_comments":[],"enrichments":{"kev":null,"epss":null,"legacy_qids":[]},"source_records":{"cve_program":{"data_version":"4.0","data_type":"CVE","data_format":"MITRE","CVE_data_meta":{"ID":"CVE-2023-25823","ASSIGNER":"security-advisories@github.com","STATE":"PUBLIC"},"description":{"description_data":[{"lang":"eng","value":"Gradio is an open-source Python library to build machine learning and data science demos and web applications.
