This is due to insufficient sanitization of the orderDetails[*].originalValue field, which is injected verbatim into a calculator formula string passed to PHP eval() inside js_to_php(), with the regex allow-list in evaluateFormula() only filtering alphanumeric tokens and leaving non-word punctuation characters intact. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. The only authentication barrier is a nonce check, but the required nonce is publicly emitted on every front-end page via the wp_head hook, making it freely obtainable by unauthenticated visitors. Payloads must be non-word XOR gadgets to bypass sanitization.","state":"PUBLISHED","assigner":"Wordfence","published_at":"2026-07-29 11:16:48","updated_at":"2026-07-30 14:01:30"},"problem_types":["CWE-94","CWE-94 CWE-94 Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection')"],"metrics":[{"version":"3.1","source":"security@wordfence.com","type":"Secondary","score":"9.8","severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","data":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","baseScore":9.8,"baseSeverity":"CRITICAL","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","privilegesRequired":"NONE","userInteraction":"NONE","scope":"UNCHANGED","confidentialityImpact":"HIGH","integrityImpact":"HIGH","availabilityImpact":"HIGH"}},{"version":"3.1","source":"CNA","type":"DECLARED","score":"9.8","severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","data":{"baseScore":9.8,"baseSeverity":"CRITICAL","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","version":"3.1"}}],"references":[{"url":"https://stylemixthemes.com/cost-calculator-plugin/","name":"https://stylemixthemes.com/cost-calculator-plugin/","refsource":"security@wordfence.com","tags":[],"title":"","mime":"","httpstatus":"","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/4c8f2872-06ff-41a2-b601-77a47470de0c?source=cve","name":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/4c8f2872-06ff-41a2-b601-77a47470de0c?source=cve","refsource":"security@wordfence.com","tags":[],"title":"","mime":"","httpstatus":"","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-14900","name":"CVE Program record","refsource":"CVE.ORG","tags":["canonical"]},{"url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-14900","name":"NVD vulnerability detail","refsource":"NVD","tags":["canonical","analysis"]}],"affected":[{"source":"CNA","vendor":"StylemixThemes","product":"Cost Calculator Builder PRO","version":"affected 4.0.3 semver","platforms":[]}],"timeline":[{"source":"CNA","time":"2026-07-14T14:56:06.000Z","lang":"en","value":"Vendor Notified"},{"source":"CNA","time":"2026-07-28T20:41:34.000Z","lang":"en","value":"Disclosed"}],"solutions":[],"workarounds":[],"exploits":[],"credits":[{"source":"CNA","value":"Nox Axter","lang":"en"}],"nvd_cpes":[],"vendor_comments":[],"enrichments":{"kev":null,"epss":{"cve_year":"2026","cve_id":"14900","cve":"CVE-2026-14900","epss":"0.006900000","percentile":"0.492350000","score_date":"2026-08-02","updated_at":"2026-08-03 00:14:24"},"legacy_qids":[]},"source_records":{"cve_program":{"containers":{"adp":[{"metrics":[{"other":{"content":{"id":"CVE-2026-14900","options":[{"Exploitation":"none"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"total"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","timestamp":"2026-07-29T13:42:03.983521Z","version":"2.0.3"},"type":"ssvc"}}],"providerMetadata":{"dateUpdated":"2026-07-29T13:42:11.473Z","orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP"},"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment"}],"cna":{"affected":[{"defaultStatus":"unaffected","product":"Cost Calculator Builder PRO","vendor":"StylemixThemes","versions":[{"lessThanOrEqual":"4.0.3","status":"affected","version":"0","versionType":"semver"}]}],"credits":[{"lang":"en","type":"finder","value":"Nox Axter"}],"descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The Cost Calculator Builder PRO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 via the js_to_php function.
