This is due to missing file extension validation and missing path normalization when CRM Email Connect processes inbound IMAP email attachments. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to send a crafted email to the site's configured inbound mailbox with a forged References header matching the plugin's expected pattern and an attachment filename such as `../helper.php`, causing the cron-based IMAP sync job to write attacker-controlled PHP outside of the .htaccess-protected `crm-attachments` directory and into `wp-content/uploads/`. On configurations where PHP executes in uploads, this can lead to remote code execution. Exploitation requires the CRM module and IMAP Email Connect feature to be enabled and configured.","state":"PUBLISHED","assigner":"Wordfence","published_at":"2026-08-26 11:16:37","updated_at":"2026-08-26 16:19:05"},"problem_types":["CWE-434","CWE-434 CWE-434 Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type"],"metrics":[{"version":"3.1","source":"security@wordfence.com","type":"Secondary","score":"9.8","severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","data":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","baseScore":9.8,"baseSeverity":"CRITICAL","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","privilegesRequired":"NONE","userInteraction":"NONE","scope":"UNCHANGED","confidentialityImpact":"HIGH","integrityImpact":"HIGH","availabilityImpact":"HIGH"}},{"version":"3.1","source":"CNA","type":"DECLARED","score":"9.8","severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","data":{"baseScore":9.8,"baseSeverity":"CRITICAL","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","version":"3.1"}}],"references":[{"url":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b9d11eb9-5e18-459f-a9d4-cccb1d593402?source=cve","name":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b9d11eb9-5e18-459f-a9d4-cccb1d593402?source=cve","refsource":"security@wordfence.com","tags":[],"title":"","mime":"","httpstatus":"","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3656848/erp","name":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3656848/erp","refsource":"security@wordfence.com","tags":[],"title":"","mime":"","httpstatus":"","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-18080","name":"CVE Program record","refsource":"CVE.ORG","tags":["canonical"]},{"url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-18080","name":"NVD vulnerability detail","refsource":"NVD","tags":["canonical","analysis"]}],"affected":[{"source":"CNA","vendor":"wedevs","product":"ERP: Complete HR, Accounting & CRM Suite Built for WooCommerce","version":"affected 1.17.8 semver","platforms":[]}],"timeline":[{"source":"CNA","time":"2026-07-28T15:57:53.000Z","lang":"en","value":"Vendor Notified"},{"source":"CNA","time":"2026-08-25T21:59:23.000Z","lang":"en","value":"Disclosed"}],"solutions":[],"workarounds":[],"exploits":[],"credits":[{"source":"CNA","value":"Talal Nasraddeen","lang":"en"}],"nvd_cpes":[],"vendor_comments":[],"enrichments":{"kev":null,"epss":null,"legacy_qids":[]},"source_records":{"cve_program":{"containers":{"adp":[{"metrics":[{"other":{"content":{"id":"CVE-2026-18080","options":[{"Exploitation":"none"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"total"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","timestamp":"2026-08-26T12:00:44.994243Z","version":"2.0.3"},"type":"ssvc"}}],"providerMetadata":{"dateUpdated":"2026-08-26T12:00:54.990Z","orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP"},"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment"}],"cna":{"affected":[{"defaultStatus":"unaffected","product":"ERP: Complete HR, Accounting & CRM Suite Built for WooCommerce","vendor":"wedevs","versions":[{"lessThanOrEqual":"1.17.8","status":"affected","version":"0","versionType":"semver"}]}],"credits":[{"lang":"en","type":"finder","value":"Talal Nasraddeen"}],"descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The ERP: Complete HR, Accounting & CRM Suite Built for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unrestricted File Type Upload in all versions up to, and including, 1.17.8 via the save_attachments() function.
