Prior to 2.5.4, LinkRepository::update and CheckLinksCommand::checkLink do not check for private IPs. An authenticated user can read responses from internal services (AWS IMDSv1, cloud metadata, internal APIs) by creating a link with a public URL and then updating it to a private IP. The links:check cron job makes the request server-side without IP filtering. This can expose cloud credentials, internal service data, and network topology. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.4.","state":"PUBLISHED","assigner":"GitHub_M","published_at":"2026-04-07 16:16:27","updated_at":"2026-04-09 15:16:12"},"problem_types":["CWE-918","CWE-918 CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)"],"metrics":[{"version":"3.1","source":"security-advisories@github.com","type":"Secondary","score":"5","severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","data":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","baseScore":5,"baseSeverity":"MEDIUM","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","privilegesRequired":"LOW","userInteraction":"NONE","scope":"CHANGED","confidentialityImpact":"LOW","integrityImpact":"NONE","availabilityImpact":"NONE"}},{"version":"3.1","source":"CNA","type":"DECLARED","score":"5","severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","data":{"attackComplexity":"LOW","attackVector":"NETWORK","availabilityImpact":"NONE","baseScore":5,"baseSeverity":"MEDIUM","confidentialityImpact":"LOW","integrityImpact":"NONE","privilegesRequired":"LOW","scope":"CHANGED","userInteraction":"NONE","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","version":"3.1"}}],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/Kovah/LinkAce/security/advisories/GHSA-4jhm-r4f5-p7xm","name":"https://github.com/Kovah/LinkAce/security/advisories/GHSA-4jhm-r4f5-p7xm","refsource":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","tags":[],"title":"","mime":"","httpstatus":"","archivestatus":"0"},{"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-35516","name":"CVE Program record","refsource":"CVE.ORG","tags":["canonical"]},{"url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-35516","name":"NVD vulnerability detail","refsource":"NVD","tags":["canonical","analysis"]}],"affected":[{"source":"CNA","vendor":"Kovah","product":"LinkAce","version":"affected < 2.5.4","platforms":[]}],"timeline":[],"solutions":[],"workarounds":[],"exploits":[],"credits":[],"nvd_cpes":[],"vendor_comments":[],"enrichments":{"kev":null,"epss":{"cve_year":"2026","cve_id":"35516","cve":"CVE-2026-35516","epss":"0.000250000","percentile":"0.069800000","score_date":"2026-04-11","updated_at":"2026-04-12 00:01:10"},"legacy_qids":[]},"source_records":{"cve_program":{"containers":{"adp":[{"metrics":[{"other":{"content":{"id":"CVE-2026-35516","options":[{"Exploitation":"poc"},{"Automatable":"no"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","timestamp":"2026-04-09T14:36:23.038676Z","version":"2.0.3"},"type":"ssvc"}}],"providerMetadata":{"dateUpdated":"2026-04-09T14:36:27.061Z","orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP"},"references":[{"tags":["exploit"],"url":"https://github.com/Kovah/LinkAce/security/advisories/GHSA-4jhm-r4f5-p7xm"}],"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment"}],"cna":{"affected":[{"product":"LinkAce","vendor":"Kovah","versions":[{"status":"affected","version":"< 2.5.4"}]}],"descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.
