gdk-pixbuf Integer Overflow and Heap Based Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

gdk-pixbuf is prone to an integer-overflow vulnerability and a heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because the application fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied data.

An attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

gdk-pixbuf 2.36.6 is vulnerable; other versions may also be vulnerable.
