LibOFX CVE-2017-2816 Stack Based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

LibOFX is prone to a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer.

Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will likely cause a denial-of-service condition.

LibOFX 0.9.11 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
