Discussion

EMC Isilon OneFS CVE-2017-8024 Unspecified Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability

EMC Isilon OneFS is prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

EMC Isilon OneFS versions prior to 8.1.0.1, prior to 8.0.1.2, prior to 8.0.0.6, and 7.2.1.x are affected.
