Eaton ELCSoft Programming Software CVE-2018-7511 Multiple Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

Eaton ELCSoft Programming Software is prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because it fails to adequately bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer.

Attackers can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploits will result in denial-of-service condition.

Eaton ELCSoft Versions 2.04.02 and prior are vulnerable.
