Discussion

GNU glibc Stack Buffer Overflow and Heap Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

GNU glibc is prone to stack-based buffer-overflow and heap-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities.

Attackers can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in denial-of-service conditions.

GNU glibc version 2.29 and prior are vulnerable.
