Discussion

Apache Archiva CVE-2019-0213 HTML Injection Vulnerability

Apache Archiva is prone to an unspecified HTML-injection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.

Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would run in the context of the affected site, potentially allowing an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user; other attacks are also possible.

Versions prior to Apache Archiva 2.2.4 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
