Discussion

ImageMagick Multiple Security Vulnerabilities

ImageMagick is prone to the following security vulnerabilities:

1. Multiple heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerabilities
2. Multiple stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerabilities
3. Multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities

Successfully exploiting these issues allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application. Failed exploits will result in denial-of-service conditions.

ImageMagick version 7.0.8-50 Q16 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
