Linux Kernel EXT2 File System Information Leak Vulnerability

The Linux kernel EXT2 filesystem handling code is reported prone to a local information-leakage vulnerability.

A local attacker may leverage this issue to access potentially sensitive kernel memory. Information gained in this way may lead to further attacks against the affected computer.
