Sun Solaris XView Local Arbitrary File Corruption Vulnerability

A local arbitrary file corruption vulnerability affects Sun Solaris XView. This issue is due to a failure of the application to securely store clipboard data.

An attacker may leverage this issue to corrupt arbitrary files with the privileges of an unsuspecting user running a vulnerable version of the affected application.
