IBM AIX NIS Client Unspecified Remote Vulnerability

IBM AIX NIS client is reported prone to a remote arbitrary code execution vulnerability. This issue may allow remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to a vulnerable computer with superuser privileges.

IBM AIX 5.3 is reported vulnerable to this issue.

Solution:
IBM has released an efix to address this issue in AIX 5.3.

IBM has updated their advisory removing the interim fix and announcing the availability of the APAR to address this issue.
