Sun Solaris LLC2 Network Driver Multicast Packet Denial Of Service Vulnerability

The Sun Solaris llc2 network driver is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability when processing certain unspecified multicast network packets.

Sun describes this issue as: "4375787 Receiving a multicast packet on tri/p,system is panic"

This issue allows remote attackers to panic the kernel of affected computers, denying further service to legitimate users.
