Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions Denial Of Service Vulnerability

Performing a GET request for http://target/_vti_bin/shtml.dll repeatedly will cause Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions to reach 100% CPU utilization. Restarting the application is required in order to regain normal functionality.
