Sony PSP Photo Viewer TIFF Image Handling Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Sony PSP is prone to a buffer overflow when handling malformed TIFF files.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in a denial of service condition. Currently we are not aware of the possibility of arbitrary code execution.

Sony PSP running firmware 2.0 is reported to be vulnerable.
