Discussion
Microsoft Windows MHTML URI Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Microsoft Windows is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability in 'INETCOMM.DLL'. The library fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input data before copying it into an insufficiently sized memory buffer.
Remote attackers may exploit this issue to execute arbitrary machine code in the context of affected users. Failed exploit attempts likely result in application crashes, denying service to legitimate users.
