Discussion

RealNetworks Helix DNA Server Multiple Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities

RealNetworks Helix DNA Server is prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities. One of these vulnerabilities is due to the application's failure to properly bounds-check user-supplied network data before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer.

These issues allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary machine code in the context of affected servers. This facilitates the remote compromise of affected computers.

Helix DNA Server 10.0 and 11.0 versions are affected by these issues.
