Tor Hostile Traffic Routing and Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

Tor is prone to a hostile traffic routing and denial of service vulnerability; updates are available.

A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to reroute traffic through a vulnerable Tor node, or cause a denial of service condition. The exact nature of these vulnerabilities has not been reported. This BID will be updated as more details become available.

This issue affects all versions of the 0.1.0.x series prior to 0.1.0.18, and all versions of the 0.1.1.x series prior to 0.1.1.23. Snapshot 0.1.2.1-alpha-cvs is also affected.
