Discussion

RETIRED: Symantec Norton Ghost FileBackup.DLL Multiple Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

Norton Ghost is prone to multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities.

Successful exploits may allow an attacker to cause denial-of-service conditions.

NOTE: This issue is being retired. Further investigation reveals that exploiting this bug requires authenticated access and that any denial of service would be in the context of the authenticated user (i.e. any service disruption would affect only the attacker.)
