Discussion

Hammer of Thyrion Multiple Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

Hammer of Thyrion is prone to multiple remote buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because the application fails to bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it into insufficiently sized buffers.

An attacker could exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial of service.

These issues affect Hammer of Thyrion 1.4.2; other version may also be vulnerable.
