MaraDNS Malformed Packet Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability

MaraDNS is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability.

Successfully exploiting this issue allows remote attackers to crash affected servers, which will deny further service to legitimate users.

The issue affects versions prior to MaraDNS 1.0.41, 1.2.12.08, and 1.3.07.04.
