Versant Object Database is prone to a vulnerability that can be leveraged to execute arbitrary commands. This issue occurs because the application fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input during the client-to-server connection process.

Successful exploits will compromise the affected server and possibly the underlying computer.

Versant Object Database 7.0.1.3 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
