Discussion
XFree86 xfs Denial of Service Vulnerability
The X font server, or 'xfs' included as part of XFree86 may be vulnerable to a denial of service condition.
By connecting numerous times and sending random data, it may be possible to cause the service to stop responding. Because an X server will often depend on the font server to continue to operate, causing xfs to crash will also cause the X server to crash.
