InspIRCd Prior to 1.1.18 'namesx' 'uhnames' Modules Multiple Denial Of Service Vulnerabilities

InspIRCd is prone to multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities because the application fails to peform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. The issues affect the 'namesx' and 'uhnames' modules.

Attackers can leverage this issue to crash the server and deny access to legitimate users. Given the nature of these issues, attackers may also be able to run arbitrary code, but this has not been confirmed.

Versions prior to InspIRCd 1.1.18 are vulnerable.
