Admintool mode 0777 Vulnerability

Solaris 2.6 HW3/98 shipped the /usr/bin/admintool binary with permissions 0777 (world writeable). This permission set would allow intruders toreplace the binary with a trojaned copy to gain root privilages.

Solution / Fix

Admintool mode 0777 Vulnerability

Solution:
Change the permissions on /usr/bin/admintool to 04555 which is the proper mode per the initial 2.6 release of Solaris.
