EMC AlphaStor Library Manager 'CreateProcess()' Function Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

EMC AlphaStor is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability that occurs in the Library Manager.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successfully exploiting this issue will completely compromise affected computers. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

The vulnerability occurs in EMC AlphaStor 3.1 SP1; other versions may also be affected.
