Trend Micro InterScan VirusWall smtpscan.dll Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Interscan Viruswall is a virus scanner distributed and maintained by Trend Micro. It is designed to scan for virus occurences in both incoming and outgoing traffic via SMTP, FTP, and HTTP at the gateway of the network.

An exploitable buffer overflow exists in a VirusWall component, smtpscan.dll, which could allow the execution of arbitrary code.

This may lead to compromise of systems running vulnerable versions of VirusWall.
