Sun Solaris and OpenSolaris are prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability caused by an unspecified issue affecting the kernel.

An attacker can exploit this issue to cause the affected kernel to panic, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.

This issue affects Solaris systems using the Sun UltraSPARC T2 and UltraSPARC T2+ processors. OpenSolaris based on builds snv_64 through snv_92 are also affected.
