RedHat Linux /dev/pts Filesystem Permission Vulnerability

Solution:
Upgrade to the following RPMs supplied by RedHat:

Intel: ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.0/i386/dev-2.7.7-2.i386.rpm
Alpha: ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.0/alpha/dev-2.7.7-2.alpha.rpm
Sparc: ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.0/sparc/dev-2.7.7-2.sparc.rpm

You will need to manually unmount the /dev/pts filesystem before the upgrade and remount it after it.
