Discussion

FFmpeg Multiple Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

FFmpeg is prone to multiple remote denial-of-service vulnerabilities.

An attacker can exploit these issues to cause the affected application to crash or enter an endless loop, denying service to legitimate users.

FFmpeg 0.4.9_20080909 and prior versions are vulnerable. Applications that use FFmpeg as a component may also be vulnerable.
