Apple Mac OS X NFS Mounted Executable Exception Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
Apple Mac OS X is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because it fails to adequately handle exceptions from NFS-mounted (Network File System) executables.
Attackers can leverage this issue to cause denial-of-service conditions.
NOTE: This issue was previously covered in BID 32839 (Apple Mac OS X 2008-008 Multiple Security Vulnerabilities), but has been given its own record to better document the issue.
