RETIRED: Nokia Series 60 SMS/MMS Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability

Nokia Series 60 devices are reportedly affected by a remote denial-of-service vulnerability caused by an error in handling crafted SMS or MMS messages.

Successful exploits of the issue will deny legitimate users from receiving any SMS or MMS messages.

This issue is reported in Nokia Series 60 2.6, 2.8, 3.0, and 3.1; other versions may also be affected.

NOTE: The BID is being retired because it is a duplicate of BID 33072.
