Discussion

PDFlib Lite PNG Image Size Integer Overflow Vulnerability

PDFlib Lite is prone to an integer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data before using it to allocate memory buffers.

Successful exploits will allow attacker-supplied code to run in the context of the user running the affected application. Failed attacks will result in denial-of-service conditions.

Versions prior to PDFlib Lite 7.0.4p4 are vulnerable.
