Symbian S60 Multiple Memory Corruption Vulnerabilities

Symbian S60 is prone to multiple memory-corruption vulnerabilities when handling specially crafted MP4, MP2, h.263, and h.264 files.

An attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code on the affected device and to compromise the device. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

The following devices are affected:

Nokia N96
Nokia E61i
Nokia E71

Other devices may also be affected.
