Discussion

Wyse Thin Client 'hagent.exe' Unspecified Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Wyse Thin Client is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data before copying it to insufficiently sized buffers.

Exploiting this issue will allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application, corrupt memory, or cause denial-of-service conditions.

We don't know which versions of Wyse Thin Client are affected. We will update this BID as more information emerges.
