RETIRED: IBM Lotus Notes Keyview XLS File Viewer Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

IBM Lotus Notes is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to adequately perform boundary checks on user-supplied data. This issue occurs in the Keyview XLS file viewer component of Lotus Notes.

Successfully exploiting this issue could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

NOTE: This BID is retired because it is a duplicate of BID 36042.
