ytnef Buffer Overflow and Directory Traversal Vulnerabilities
Yerase's TNEF Stream Reader (ytnef) is prone to a buffer-overflow issue and a directory-traversal issue.
Exploiting these issues may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or overwrite arbitrary files within the context of the affected application.
These issues affect ytnef 2.6; other versions may also be vulnerable.
Note that the same issues affect other applications, such as the Evolution TNEF attachment decoder plugin.
