Drupal XML Sitemap Link Paths HTML Injection Vulnerability

The XML Sitemap component for Drupal is prone to an HTML-injection vulnerability because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in dynamically generated content.

Successful exploits would allow attackers to execute arbitrary script and HTML code in the context of the affected browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user. Other attacks are also possible.

Versions prior to XML Sitemap 5.x-1.7 are vulnerable.
