Mozilla Firefox/SeaMonkey GeckoActiveXObject Exception Message COM Object Enumeration Vulnerability

Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey are prone to a COM object enumeration vulnerability.

An attacker can exploit this issue by enticing an unsuspecting victim to view a malicious webpage.

Successful exploits will allow attackers to enumerate a list of COM objects installed on the affected computer and create a profile to track the user over browsing sessions.

NOTE: This issue was previously covered in BID 37349 (Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey MFSA 2009-65 through -71 Multiple Vulnerabilities), but has been assigned its own record to better document it.
