Discussion

Orbit Downloader Metalink File Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Orbit Downloader is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input.

Exploiting this issue allows attackers to create files in directories outside the download directory of the application.

Orbit Downloader versions 3.0.0.4 and 3.0.0.5 are affected; other versions may also be vulnerable.
