Tell A Friend Node Module For Drupal Security Vulnerability

The Tell A Friend Node module for Drupal is prone to a security vulnerability.

The module is prone to an email-header-injection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input when constructing email messages.

Attackers require 'access tellafriend nodes' permissions.

Exploiting this issue allows a malicious user to create arbitrary email headers, and then create and transmit spam messages from the affected computer.

Note: The vendor indicates that Tell A Friend Node is no longer supported.
