Discussion
Piwigo SQL Injection and HTML Injection Vulnerabilities
Piwigo is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability and multiple HTML-injection vulnerabilities.
An attacker may leverage the HTML-injection issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
The attacker may exploit the SQL-injection issue to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
Piwigo version 2.0.6 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Exploit / POC
Piwigo SQL Injection and HTML Injection Vulnerabilities
An attacker can exploit these issues via a browser. To exploit a cross-site scripting issue, the attacker must entice an unsuspecting victim to follow a malicious URI.
The following example URI is available:
http://www.example.com/piwigo-2.0.6/admin.php?page=cat_list&parent_id=-6+union+select+1,password,3,4,5,6+from+piwigo.piwigo_users--
