Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird Canvas Element Cross Domain Information Disclosure Vulnerability
Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird are prone to a cross-domain information-disclosure vulnerability because the applications fail to enforce the same-origin policy.
An attacker can exploit this issue by tricking an unsuspecting victim into viewing a page containing malicious content.
Successful exploits will allow attackers to bypass the same-origin policy and obtain potentially sensitive information; other attacks are possible.
This issue is fixed in:
Firefox 3.6.7
Thunderbird 3.1.1
