lvm2-cluster 'clvmd' Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

The cluster logical volume manager daemon (clvmd) is prone to a local privilege-escalation vulnerability in the lvm2-cluster package.

A local attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with superuser privileges, which may result in a complete compromise of the affected computer. Attackers may also leverage this issue to impact services on other nodes in the cluster.
