VLC Media Player Meta-Information Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
VLC media player is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because the application fails to sufficiently validate user-supplied input.
Attackers may leverage this issue to crash the affected application, denying service to legitimate users. Due to the nature of this issue, arbitrary code-execution may be possible; however this has not been confirmed.
