QEMU QXL Graphics Local Memory Corruption Vulnerability

QEMU is prone to a local memory-corruption vulnerability in the QXL graphics card driver.

A privileged attacker on the guest operating system can exploit this issue to cause the guest system to crash. Due to the nature of this issue, the attacker may escalate privileges on the host operating system; this has not been confirmed.
