Apple Safari is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability.

An attacker can exploit this issue by tricking an unsuspecting victim into viewing a malicious web page.

Successful exploits will cause the application to crash. Due to the nature of this issue, arbitrary code execution may be possible; this has not been confirmed.

Apple Safari 5.0.1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
